Edmond Burke Republican Senate District 43 Our mission is to promote Republican values and to identify, elect, and support good Republican Candidates throughout the District. Senate District 43 has it's convention!! SD43 Republicans gathered at Wayzata East Middle School on March 8th to endorse our candidates, discuss resolutions to our platform, elect delegates and alternates for the 3rd Congressional District and State Conventions and to talk politics. Convention Endorses Sarah Anderson for SD43 A Side Special Endorsing convention to be held for B side, date to be announced later Senate District 43s Favorite Son Jeff Johnson wins endorsement at The Hennepin Co. Convention for County Commissioner District 7 In a post convention interview, Jeff Johnson had this to say: I want to express my appreciation to all of the committed Republicans who came out last Saturday to choose their candidate for the County Board. The contest was spirited, substantive and positive and I'm very thankful for the Republican endorsement. We will be running a very active and energetic campaign over the next 8 months based upon those conservative principles I outlined at the endorsing convention. I will be calling upon Republican activists throughout the county for help in that campaign. Together, we can win this race and keep this seat in conservative hands. Thanks again for your support, Jeff Hennenpin Co. Commissioner of District 6, Linda Kublick, won't seek another term. Delegates and Alternates of Sd43B whos precincts are in Minnetonka will be convening with the rest of District 6 Delegates to endorse a new candidate. SD43 Boundaries State Senate District 43 is your local grass roots organization for the party. We set up your caucuses, and local conventions for this political subdivision. We represent voters from most of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, & part of Northern Minnetonka. Generally our borders are from Highway 101 on the west, to Highway 169 on the east, and from Bass Lake Road on the north to Highway 7 on the south. We are divided into two State House Districts. The north portion is called the "A" side and the south portion is called the "B" side. |
